CHICAGO (December 12, 2005) —The Fight Against Pain,
an ABC News series, will be released on DVD by MPI Home Video on
January 31, 2006.
More than 50 million Americans suffer from chronic pain. It is a
problem that costs the U.S. more than $100 billion each year and is
responsible for 25% of sick days taken. The Fight Against Pain
reports on the causes of pain, the impact it has on our lives, work,
family and even our mental outlook. The stories look at how to
better educate and assist those struggling with pain, new and
promising treatments on the horizon and, the types of resources
available for pain sufferers.
This series is a compilation of reports from World News Tonight with
Peter Jennings, Good Morning America and Nightline.
